Price to Compare

From the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission’s PA Power Switch Website: Since utility rate caps have expired and you may soon see an increase in your electric invoice. But depending on where you live, you may be able to save money by switching your electric supplier to TriEagle Energy.

Each quarter, the EDCs release their “Price to Compare” rates, which are the rates that customers who do not choose an alternate supplier like TriEagle, will pay for their electricity. These rates are roughly based on the prevailing market rates for electricity, and can increase significantly each quarter.

Remember, regardless of who generates your electricity, you will continue to call your electric utility for outages, emergency services and questions about your residential service. The quality, reliability, and maintenance of your electric service should not change as it is still monitored by the PUC.

For business and residential customers, TriEagle’s quote for service will include a comparison to the Price to Compare, which includes all components like Transmission and Gross Receipts Tax.
